40/1 Wukang Road was built in 1932, and is listed in the Third Group of Excellent Historical Architecture of Shanghai.

The arched door is positioned between two composite spiral columns, while the decorations of shells, spirals and grass adorn the small space above the door in elegant solemnity. In general, the entrance is the perfect combination of Spanish passion and Baroque lavishness.
