64 Urumqi Road S. was built in 1932.

This garden house has style of British country villa, which was originated from Medieval of Europe. In 19th century the style of Medieval architecture was quite popular in Britain, then was transmitted to Shanghai, and was named as British style, since it is differentiated from other European-style buildings in Shanghai at he time. The most visible features are half-visible wooden frames on the wall, red brick wall between wooden frameworks, and steep roof of red tile.

Now it is used by Athletic Association of Xuhui District.
