604 Zhaojiabang Road was built in 1930s.

The detached garden house is located at the rear side of the land, which is a narrow block in north-south direction, while the front half part near road is open yard, forming a L-shape layout.

Although this house has been taken over by several owners, there have been big modifications of interior decoration, we can still find some features of Spanish style from some curve line decorated door opening, style of chimney at southwest corner and half-round arch decoration above window opening on the first floor at south, etc.

It is now the Meiyuancun (Plum Garden Village) Treasure Gallery.
